End of Donut craze for me

those donuts are exaggerated, i've had better donuts than that...man what did they put in them, i felt like i'm full of gas after 2 donut......what a waste of time queuing for ages and they are a let down.....

I know it's old news, he have been here since 22nd 7.01am, but i was...kinda lazy that time and plus the rain didnt help. So I think I gonna get the book today !!! yay
Cant wait to finish it!!!

Donut....orgh,.,.....donut....

Donut....stereotype fav food of police officer, and...er...Homer type. Suddenly i have a craving for donuts. I havent eaten a donut for ...a while and suddenly there's this craze for donut around me. There's one at raffles, city hall. Even dunkin donuts are in competition without an actual retail store with their weekly online delivery. I wonder if the online order is thought by the company or someone taking advantage of the craze to make some extra cash, because the price is similar to other donut, when we know dunkin donut at other country cost a fraction of that. I wonder ..... any way the idea is a good, but without enough hip, it might not last but then again, they dont need to pay rent, just trucks of donut delivered to a pickup place every week and a website fee.
Well i guess i'm gonna try what made the craze. I hope it wouldnt taste like j.co or krispy kreme, both tasted roughly same where one is sweeter than other, but the after taste is really same. I wonder if they both use same recipe...hm....
It started to rain again this week, and seems like there's mosquito outbreak. Hope i wont catch dengue. Although the number of dengue case is smaller than other country but if compared to total pop, it's pretty high, some of them even caught it multiple time ! 2-3. I wonder why they dont try to reduce aedes type like what they did with flies or made them nearly extinct. I know it's a horrible idea to made a species extinct but does the aedes type really useful for environment ?i thought they only leech from other, maybe the male is....well i'll wiki it when i have the chance.

reality tv

Man, whoever tought of the idea of reality tv is a tv genious. They can be cheaper than most drama (where actor/treses get paid per episode, etc) or contest show (winner get paid every episode) where in a reality tv, only the winner had to be paid and they appeared for an entire season. Plus the part when viewer vote, they can charge callers for the vote. Imagine if 1 mil vote at 25c ea, for last couple of eps. No wonder lots of tv start to produce reality tv and there's so many of them, ranging from rudiculous to great. My personal fav atm is so you think you can dance, man seeing them dance made me wanna dance too and all time fav - amazing race.
Still i wish producer could select what reality tv to air or make, some of them is really stupid with only aim to entertain and show exagerated emotion to viewer or show determination for the wrong purpose (Greed for wealth). I wish they could make show than can teach us more of something, like amazing race - background history of countries. But, even amazing race start to lose its educational value. Alot of the challenges is for the sake of challenges unlike their first few season.

Today i re-read my copy of Dresden Files. Why? I'm not sure, i accidentally pick it among my other collection, and start reading. And Bam! i realize that i had finished a quarter of the book. I think i know why i like it so much. Harry Dresden, in a way is like Peter parker! We,reader, can read his tought and he's pretty gutsy, chatty and jokes in mist of danger. Not many main char convey his tought as much as dresden or parker in a way. They both are also interestingly have problem with their life and not very well received by the their community (parker-bugle, dresden-white council). I think i will be re-reading the rest of the book within this week.

i havent reach all my goals set when i was young (emphasis on word young)
so many people has achieved their greatness before 23, now im 23 and still at the depth of my pit.
i know i fell down badly a few years ago and havent regained an ounce of what i did , but that'll be another story.
this is supposedly a joyous occasion.
God has let me experience another full year of life, yeah im pretty gratefull for it. Nothing so bad i cant fix happen, but nothing great either, i suppose i should be gratefull for it, for God didn't let anything so bad happen to me.
Well time to get back to reality and kick start myself so that maybe....just maybe.... that goal of mine can be achieved before 24...
oh man..even the word 24 .....made me feel so old. I started feeling nostalgic when i saw those JC or sec student pass, i was like that minus all hi tech gadget and handphone. I wasnt so much a tech geek back then, i didnt even know how to turn computer on, when i reach uni , that a diff thing..
oh well
time for me to moveon go on with life and hope for the best

Dream

Did i read too much fantasy book ?!@!?
This time i really dream something strange, it looked like something that cameout of a movie.
I dreamt that i was in a farming community, digging ground, planting seed, watering them.
Then, someone i perceive as a friend whose face i couldnt remember after waking up, came at the back of a cart calling me (not too sure what i was called) asking me if i want to go to the town with her dad. Her dad was going to buy some supplies and she wanted to buy some personal articles. If i didnt want to go she also offered me her help buying me anystuff i want from town. I asked my dad, and he said it was fine. There i go riding at the back of the cart with her. Then it was a blur in my memory. Next thing i remember i was at a town, old western looking, people riding horses everwhere, an antique car here and there. She talked with him, and came asking me accompany her to a somesort of store. I remember there was a commercial fridge there and the store sells a lot of candy, and other stuff, but a lot of candy. Which was weird, considering an old western era shouldn't have modern fridge.
The sky went dark, people yelling, loud explosion, i dunk undertable with her and saw a tank passing with a lot of soldiers around it, with modern equipment...... Another tank came, yelling, gun shot. Then hear a loud voice saying, the town has been taken by something..something and all citizen should embrace new era. A soldier came in ....and that's when i woke up....

weird dream...
i think i read /watch too many fantasy.../ ...scifi.....
but certainly not the weirdest, considering i had a dream bout fairy not so long ago, which i might write one day.
Those weird dream are so vivid... i usually know it when it was a dream. And when i do know, i'd usually do weirdest thing possible, like running lightspeed, flying..but...those weird dream....

Second toned down rant: another day

Another day....and here i'm 2nd post. I think i'm still hip about this blog thingy.
Home is flooded again. It's said the flood is 5 years cycle thing. Kinda sad, that i cant be there helping them moving things to higher ground.
I remember my first flood, during final exams. Had to study under candle light, but luckily they were cancelled. Even when they resumed, i had to balanced my self on chairs to get to the school's 2nd level.
(Reminiscing the past, i felt like a grumpy old man now)
Flood is always a bad thing, disrupt economy. Destroy things, makes buildings a little unsightly when water sep through the wall and leave its watermark, which can't be removed/washed unless with another coat of paint. Plus the flood stinks.
Rats swimming. Stray animals drowned.................. and thus................................
I remember after the first flood, there had been less stray cats meowing and lurking around my house.

I hope this blog can be saved. I'd sure want to read this 30-50 years later. I bet it would be fun. I had always remember stuff if my memory can be tickled. To this moment whenever i saw something related to past i'd always start imagine them.

Move on.
Anyone saw Friday Nights Lights (emphasis on Lights), football drama in Texas. Starred Kyle Chandler, Early Edition main actor. They are ok, fun to watch and infact kinda interesting to watch their characther development and how they react differently because of that. The bad thing is there's too much char and those who started watching at middle and not from the start might not understand the plot and might feel less connection on /with the show. Aside that i enjoy the show, cuz i had started from the start.

Well, stopping now. Wonder what i'll write next time.

My first toned down rant..

My first blog at last....
after so many months of blogging intent, i actually start blogging today. Wonder why....
well now that i have one, .........................
i'm stuped, totally stuped of what could i possibly put in this blog. I guess i'm a noob blogger......
oh well since i just bought a couple of books and read some let me write something about them....
on the second thought ..'write something about one of them'...

I did, i watch episode 101 and read book 1 'Storm Front'.
I want to write something about the book.
The story is about the only professional white wizard in Chicago (not going to elaborate much on that since it's been done on wiki).
The story is pretty interesting, it engaged me to keep reading from start to end. Whereas usually i wouln't start engaged not before reaching the good part of a story (action, problem, climax, etc).
I really like the book plus with tv show, it became so much easier to imagine while reading.
But then, i usually like most of the book i read till finish, the difficult part is getting me to start reading again. I guess i'm those called old fashioned reader, only read what's known or what i'm comfortable with. I hardly tried new books from other writers even if they are super famous or so.
Oh well i think i'm out of words.... in sum, Dresden book 1 is good can't wait to get my hand on 2nd one.
